ひょうたん作業

ひょうたんづくりが、これほどまで大変なことだとは知らなかった(>_<)
収穫したひょうたんを水につけておき、腐ったら中の種などを出す作業が本当に大変。１ぴょうのひょうたんだって、なかなか抜けない。この作業中の悪臭も大変(~_~;)
それを乾かすのも、今や３台の扇風機が屋外で夜通しかかりっぱなしという状態。
なにしろ田舎だから、エアコンも扇風機も夏場でさえ、夜通しかけたりはしない我が家にとっては、まさに「ひょうたん様様」のようです。
そしてある程度渇いたら、こうして座敷の縁周りにずらずら並べることになる。
これはまだ一部です(^^ゞ
こういうのを見ていると、以前我が家にひょうたんをくださった人の苦労をあまりに知らなかった自分たちに気づく。人間実際にしてみないとわからないというが、１ぴょう作るのにどれだけ時間と手間がかかっているか。
まだまだこれは完成ではない。これから当分いい状態で乾燥させ、加工する。できあがりはまだまだ先のようだ。
