玉川一のお米
玉川のお米は、とても評判がよい。特に私が住むところの一部の田んぼでとれるお米は、毎年人気が高い。８月の末には毎年新米をいただく。今年は、少し遅れて９月の最初にいただいた。
健康ブームで、玄米なども人気があるが、我が家ではやり白米。父が譲らない。父くらいの世代の人には、「白いご飯」というのは、また格別の思いがあるらしい。
これは、先日の産業祭で特賞に輝いた玉川一のお米です。今年は、長年にわたり特賞をとってきた人を破っての受賞。出品されていたお米は、どれも自信作で甲乙つけがたかったと思いますが、ことのほか輝いていましたね。
