椀舟
ワタリガニの美味しい季節。
「いいカニが入りました～！」と行きつけのお店から連絡が入り、カニファンの母たちご一行は、桜井にカニを食べに行きました。
今治市の桜井は魚が美味しいところです。桜井漆器でも、有名です。
で、そのワタリガニの話かと言えばそうじゃないんです。
（私だってカニファンの一員ではあるのですが、昼間っからカニを食べるような生活をしていないので、レポートできません (~_~;)
内心お土産のカニを待っていたのですが、そうはいかないのが世の中ってもんです。
そこで、横歩きしながら？！、帰ってきたのが、この「椀舟」（わんぶね）です。
そう！！これも、私の好物のひとつでした(^.^)
シソのきいたあっさり餡がとても美味しい今治の銘菓のひとつです。
瀬戸内の海を、椀舟がいく。
白い帆をあげた三十石舟。
椀舟と呼ばれるのは、船内に椀屋さんと親しまれる伊予桜井の漆器商人たちが乗り込んでいるからだ。
