初大師
旧暦の１月５日は大安。この日は、この辺の２１ヶ所のお寺をめぐる「初大師さん」の日である。
２１ヶ所のお寺の中には、四国霊場八十八箇所のお寺もあるし、そうでないお寺もある。
お参りの人たちは、それぞれのお寺で、赤飯や小豆粥、手作りの巾着袋など「お接待」を受けながら、１日かけてまわる。
この「お接待」には、「お互いさま」という感謝の気持ちが込められている。
お遍路さんたちが、四国をまわって、１番に心にしみるのが、この「お接待」なのだそうだ。
写真は、糸井重里氏のＷＥＢサイト「ほぼ日」で「坊さん」のコーナー連載をしているミッセイさんが住職のお寺、玉川の札所・栄福寺。我が家は檀家ではないけれど、時々お寺どうしのイベント？（って言わない？(^_^;) の時にお見かけします。
